On August 7, 2025, SotaTek and Hanjin Information Systems & Telecommunication (HIST) signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on global IT solutions and digital transformation services. Through this partnership, the two companies plan to jointly pursue business ventures in various fields, including software development, system integration, and AI-driven technology solutions for both domestic and international enterprises.
SotaTek, a global software development and IT outsourcing company headquartered in Hanoi, Vietnam, provides SDaaS (Software Development as a Service) and tailored digital transformation consulting across various industries. HIST, a comprehensive ICT service company under the Hanjin Group, boasts a wealth of industry expertise and technological capabilities, particularly in aviation, logistics, and the public sector.
This MOU will combine SotaTek's dynamic and youthful global development workforce with HIST's deep industry expertise to collaborate on several key initiatives, including:

Operating stable and scalable IT services based on the Global Development Center (GDC)

Co-developing innovative platforms using AI and new technologies
In particular, both companies will actively leverage and enhance HIST’s AI Portal (HAI Portal) to significantly improve talent matching and requirements analysis capabilities for global clients.
SotaTek will form a dedicated team to systematically transfer knowledge and execution capabilities, while HIST will lead the standardization of processes that comply with global standards based on its extensive operational experience.
The two companies also discussed the formation of a joint task force (TFT) based on HIST’s experience and solutions in the aviation sector, alongside SotaTek's local network and technical support capabilities in Vietnam. This collaboration will explore various opportunities for joint ventures in global business development and other sectors.
Through this partnership, both companies aim to maximize synergy effects in the global market.
