On September 26, 2025, in Hanoi, SotaTek Technology JSC, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT), and the AI for Vietnam organization officially signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to initiate the DeepEdu project, a strategic initiative aimed at researching and developing artificial intelligence (AI) specifically for Vietnam's education sector.

DeepEdu aims to create proactive, precise, and independent AI models that directly support teaching and learning processes. The project will focus on developing a specialized Vietnamese-language data ecosystem, creating intelligent educational tools to promote equal access to education, and enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnam's human resources in the international market.
Specifically, the three parties will collaborate to build research infrastructure and partnership networks, fostering an optimal creative environment. This not only aims to innovate educational methods and accelerate digital transformation in education but also to generate high-quality job opportunities for students.

Mr. Dang Hoai Bac, Director of PTIT, emphasized: “DeepEdu establishes a new intellectual infrastructure that democratizes high-quality education, personalizes learning journeys for students, and reduces disparities among regions.”
Chairman of SotaTek, Mr. Le Minh Tuan, added: “This trilateral cooperation helps create practical AI applications with lasting social value, marking a significant step for Vietnam to not just access but master and disseminate technology internationally.”

Mr. Vu Xuan Son, Co-founder of AI for Vietnam, expressed his joy at the participation of the Academy, an important piece and the foundation for the project to operate sustainably and successfully. In addition, participating in the ceremony online, Mr. Tran Viet Hung, Co-Founder and CEO of AI for Vietnam, emphasized: “We believe that DeepEdu will become the core of an AI ecosystem serving education, contributing to affirming Vietnam's position on the global technology map.
The signing marks an essential advancement in the cooperation model among educational institutions, enterprises, and technological organizations, promising sustainable and practical benefits for the community.
