SotaTek Signs Strategic Partnership with Smarttech Under the Patronage of NATEC

Hanoi – SotaTek has officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Smarttech, marking a new chapter in the development of integrated hardware-software technology solutions. The partnership is established under the patronage of the National Agency for Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Development (NATEC), demonstrating strong support from government authorities for fostering Vietnam’s innovation and startup ecosystem.

Aligned with the Government’s Resolution on National Digital Transformation

This partnership between SotaTek and Smarttech is formed in the context of the Vietnamese Government actively implementing its Resolution on National Digital Transformation, aiming to accelerate the development of the digital economy, digital society, and innovation capacity.

With NATEC’s backing, the collaboration not only carries strategic significance for both companies but also contributes to realizing national goals: promoting technology adoption, developing Make in Vietnam products, and enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese enterprises in the digital era.

With a shared commitment to driving digital transformation and high-tech applications, SotaTek and Smarttech will jointly research, develop, and commercialize integrated hardware–software products for both domestic and international markets.

Roles and Responsibilities of Each Party

Smarttech – Hardware Platform and R&D Capability

Within the framework of this partnership, Smarttech will:

• Provide technical expertise, facilities, and hardware products for joint projects.
• Participate in research, development, and testing of integrated solutions.
• Support commercialization and market access for jointly developed products.

SotaTek – Software Solutions and Core Technologies

As the key software technology partner, SotaTek will:

• Develop software, applications, and system integration solutions for Smarttech’s hardware products.
• Engage in joint R&D and share knowledge on software technologies and digital transformation.
• Provide technical support, training, and consulting related to software solutions.

NATEC – Patronage, Strategic Direction, and Resource Connection

In its role as a state agency supporting technology enterprises and startups, NATEC will:

• Provide policy direction, legal support, and advisory services on science and technology market development.
• Connect the Parties to public resources, international partners, investment funds, and innovation support programs.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of the collaboration to ensure alignment with national technology development objectives.
