Hanoi, Vietnam (December 14, 2025) - Techfest Vietnam 2025, hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology in coordination with the Hanoi People’s Committee, took place from December 12 - 14, 2025 at the Hoan Kiem Lake pedestrian street. Under the theme “Nationwide Innovative Entrepreneurship – A New Growth Engine,” the event featured policy announcements and investment-connection activities, welcoming 60,000+ participants both online and onsite, alongside 1,200+ investment funds and incubators and 1,700 startups from Vietnam and abroad.
A First-of-Its-Kind Open-Space Format
For the first time, Techfest shifted from a traditional conference-hall setting to an open, public innovation space, bringing startup technologies closer to citizens in a direct and engaging way. The exhibition area was designed as an open layout around Hoan Kiem Lake with specialized zones, enabling hands-on experiences with solutions spanning AI, IoT, virtual reality, and smart-city applications through interactive showcases and real-world demos.
Beyond the experience zone, Techfest Vietnam 2025 also featured international workshops, panel discussions, a startup talent competition final, and an international policy forum for investment connectivity. A key highlight was the opening ceremony held on the evening of December 13 at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, attended by senior Party and State leaders. The event was expected to mark an important milestone toward a new national phase focused on implementing Vietnam’s National Strategy for Innovative Startup Development.
SotaTek’s 4 AI innovations at Techfest Vietnam 2025
At Techfest Vietnam 2025, SotaTek introduced four flagship AI solutions designed to accelerate digital transformation across enterprises, manufacturing, healthcare, and multilingual collaboration:
1. NoteX - Launch of TransleaX

SotaVision is an AI-powered computer vision solution that analyzes images and video in real time with high precision. The solution has been deployed in large manufacturing environments in Vietnam, including LG Innotek and Samsung Display, delivering strong results such as 30% reduction in labor cost and effort, 99.99% accuracy, processing speed of <50ms, and detection of defects as small as 0.3mm.
3. SotaMed - AI Healthtech for Smarter Diagnosis
SotaTek also showcased SotaMed, a healthcare technology suite designed to improve clinical efficiency and diagnostic quality. Its flagship PACS-AI solution combines medical imaging storage with AI features supporting the detection of liver tumors and lung nodules. The platform also integrates speech-to-text AI, achieving ~95% accuracy for standard Vietnamese voice and reducing data-entry time by up to 60%.
4. SotaBox - Next-gen AI Data Management for Enterprises
SotaBox is a next-generation data management platform that integrates AI for enterprise use cases. It helps businesses reduce up to 75% of implementation cost and time for AI agent deployment, while ensuring 100% of data remains in Vietnam. With 85%+ answer and citation accuracy, SotaBox can be tailored across workflows such as knowledge management, HR, process management, automated reporting, and risk review.
