Clients

Our client is one of South Korea’s leading fashion companies and e-commerce platforms. The engagement started as a pilot project and quickly expanded into a long-term strategic partnership operated under a GDC (Global Delivery Center) model.

SotaTek’s team of 50 members, including PMs, BAs, frontend and backend developers, and QAs, has been working closely with multiple client departments such as Product, Tech, and Commerce, requiring highly flexible, cross-functional coordination throughout the project.

Challenge

The client faced complex, largely manual internal workflows that limited scalability and slowed down support for fast-growing business needs. Data and systems were fragmented, making it difficult to gain a unified view for operations and marketing. At the same time, their partner ecosystem was expanding quickly without a centralized, user-friendly portal and content management system.

Solutions

Although the collaboration initially lacked a clearly standardized working process, making it challenging to manage priorities and progress across multiple client departments, SotaTek and the client quickly aligned on a transparent, streamlined model. This enabled smooth coordination and laid the foundation for delivering a series of impactful solutions across operations, data, and partner management.

Standardized and streamlined collaboration
- Defined clear roles and responsibilities (R&R) between SotaTek and the client.
- Established structured communication and documentation via Jira, Slack, and Wiki.
- Set up recurring meetings to review progress, handle issues, and keep stakeholders aligned.

Automation and optimization of internal operations
- Built an internal system to support Merchandisers (MD), reducing manual tasks and improving team productivity.
- Developed a Visual Labeling Management (VLM) tool to streamline product labeling, enhance data labeler efficiency, and prepare for future AI-based auto-labeling.

Data and marketing enablement
- Implemented a Customer Data Platform (CDP) to manage, segment, and analyze customer groups for targeted marketing campaigns.
- Integrated Amplitude APIs to collect and visualize key analytics, supporting better monitoring and data-driven decision-making.

Partner portal maintenance and expansion
- Enhanced and managed key portal features, including 1:1 Inquiry Management and FAQ dashboards.
- Developed and extended modules for Discount, Coupon, and Product management to strengthen operational control.

Partner information and content management system
- Built a dedicated Partner site and CMS (Admin Page) to centralize training materials, guidelines, and FAQs for current and potential partners.
- Upgraded UI/UX and expanded content categories to deliver a more intuitive, engaging experience on partner-facing pages.
